Hi-Way 13 Transport was incorporated in 1957 when brothers, Fred Sr. and Tom O'Riordan, decided to combine their efforts and expand their operations. Both had determined that there was a need for logistics services out of Camrose and they knew they could establish a transportation company there. They became extremely successful at it and the company they started in Camrose quickly grew across central and eastern Alberta.
After Tom's passing, Fred bought his brother's share of the business and continued running the company. Tom and Fred’s children are running Hi-Way 13 Transport today. They're the second generation of O'Riordans to carry on with the family philosophy: "We're here to satisfy customers to best of our ability first. The ‘bottom line’ will look after itself."
This same philosophy has led our company to where it is today. Hi-Way 13 Transport now employs over 100 full-time personnel and owns 15 straight trucks, 65 tractors and 178 trailers – consisting of 27, 48, and 53-foot tandem and tridem vans, decks, B-trains, super B-trains, and pole trailers capable of hauling up to 80-foot lengths of pipe.
Our founders started with the vision of helping people in the region. After nearly six decades of hard work and dedication, we're happy to service western and northern Canada including the Canadian oil fields
